Friends Of Fundraising
Appeal For Volunteers 2012
We are reaching out to the local community in the hopes of making ‘Fundraising Friends’ for 2012.

To kick start the appeal and provide the new charity chums with information on the upcoming events in need of support, the funding department is hosting a ‘bring a friend’ evening at The Cancer Support Centre on Smith Lane on Tuesday 24th April from 7:00pm.
The get-together will allow people to introduce themselves, get to know fellow ‘fundraising friends’ and ask any questions, whilst having a few refreshments.

Community Fundraiser, Linda Enderby, said,
“An extra pair of hands can make the world of difference to a small charity like ours, even if it just once or twice within the year. We really hope as many people as possible from local businesses and the community will come forward to link arms with our friendly team and offer their support.”
CSBA offers face to face help, support, and information to anyone in the Bradford District with a cancer diagnosis, along with their friends and family. In total, they have offered a helping hand to over 50,000 people since the charity began 24 years ago.
Relying heavily on voluntary help and donations, the appeal aims to provide additional support to the 70 volunteers currently providing their valuable time and skills.
If you are interested in getting involved or would like to attend the evening meet-up, contact the Fundraising Team on 01274 77 66 88 to find out more.
