Registered Charity No 519429 Our services are all free of charge to people whose lives have been affected by cancer in the Bradford Metropolitan District of West Yorkshire Situated within the main entrance of Bradford Royal Infirmary The Cancer Information Centre has been developed in partnership between Bradford Cancer Support and Bradford Teaching Hospitals Foundation NHS Trust. The service provides access to information about diagnosis, treatment and care. It can also put people in touch with practical, emotional and social support, which is free of charge through Bradford Cancer Support.
Drop-in Service There is no need to make an appointment. You can drop in during our opening hours without having to make an appointment. We are open Monday to Friday between 10.00am and 4.00pm (outside of these hours on an appointment basis) You do not have to make a special journey; you can contact us by phone, fax or e-mail.
What we can offer Our Team You can talk to the Information Co-ordinator, trained staff and volunteers who are happy to do their best to help you. We have resources available if you have any particular needs e.g. information in other languages and information for those with sight or hearing difficulties. The Centre has a wide range of leaflets, books, videos/dvd's and audiotapes on different topics. We also offer access to the Internet. You can browse through the information on your own or approach our staff and volunteers who are there to help you. All enquiries are dealt with in the strictest confidence.
