Cancer can become the sole and central focus of a person's life. The
need to have a diversion can be very important in getting life back into
perspective. We offer a range of art and craft activities. The purpose is to
help participants to gain a sense of pleasure, satisfaction and
achievement. Although no previous skill is necessary and there is no
expectation that works of art will be produced, some people discover
abilities that they didn't realise they had. This in itself is extremely
therapeutic.

Creative Art classes include:

Watercolour painting - Pottery - Pastels - Silk and Glass Painting

Other activities are also available from time to time

Even if you are not feeling very well, mixing with others and joining in
restful activity can help divert the mind from pain, nausea or fatigue.

Previous experience is not necessary. Talent is an added extra.
